The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) is hosting a Together Kansas community resource and job fair in Atchison on Monday, July 21. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Highland Community College Technical Center, 1501 W. Riley St.
Colton J. Dunaway, 31, Atchison, was arrested on Wednesday on a District Court warrant for failure to appear in court. Taken to County Jail.

Monday evening, the Atchison City Commission unanimously tabled an ordinance to establish no parking on two separate streets. The first one of the 1200 and 1300 blocks of South 9th Street, which was a request from a Resident who lives on those blocks due to the street being too narrow for vehicles to park on either side of the street, allows vehicles to pass through.
