Robert Allen Andrews, Sr, 74, of Rushville, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, with Pastor George Baugh and Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Weston, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Robert was born April 7, 1950, in Leavenworth, KS, the son of John H.H. and Hazel (Gwinn) Andrews. He worked as a laborer for a grain elevator known now as Bartlett Grain. Robert and his wife attended Rushville Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Robert married Pamela Ann Callaway on October 17, 1977, in Platte City, MO, they were married for forty-six years. His wife Pamela survives in the home. He is also survived by two sons, Lennie and Angela Callaway, Weston, MO, Robert Andrews, Jr., Atchison, KS, a daughter, Christy and Michael Boydston, Rushville, MO, a brother Edward Vineyard, Leavenworth, KS, a sister, Doris “DD” Ellis, Atchison, KS, brother in law, Ernest Callaway, sister in law Shirley Bowen, grandchildren, Ashley Cardwell, Ondrea Cardwell, Cheynne Callaway, Mekayla Boydston, Katlyn Boydston, Kylee Lawson, Adam Martinez, great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Mason, Brayden, Hazel, Jennabelle, and one on the way Freya.

He was preceded by his parents, a brother James Vineyard, and a daughter-in-law, Paula Sue Andrews.
