Judith Ann “Judy” Zachary, 83, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024.

Judy was born on October 3, 1940, in Atchison, Kansas, to Henry “Dutch” Wolters and Helen “Nellie” (Fuhrman) Wolters. She grew up in Atchison Kansas. She met Edward Zachary and they were married in Omaha, NE. They had 4 beautiful children. Edward, Jennifer, Ellie, and her favorite Jeffrey.

Judy spent most of her working life in the Real Estate Industry before retiring in 2009 to help when her youngest child welcomed twins. Judy spent her retirement enjoying her family and especially her Grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ed and Cari Zachary of Omaha, NE; Jennifer and Andy Jordan of Collinsville, OK; Ellie and Jesse Sweet of Omaha, NE; Jeff and Emily Zachary of Omaha, NE; She is also survived by her siblings, Maggie Church, Jane Enzbrenner, and John Wolters; her brother-in-law, Frank Enzbrenner; her sister-in-law, Judy Wolters; and her beloved grandchildren, Anna, Kate, Ian, and Will Zachary; Wyatt (Gabbi) and Brannon Jordan; Jack, Charlie, and Addie Jane Sweet; Henry and Owen Zachary; and great-grandchildren Blakely and Gray Jordan. Judy will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gene and Jerome Wolters, and her sisters-inlaw, Catherine and Pam Wolters.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
