Jessie Luna, 78, of Atchison, Kansas died December 8, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Mo.

Jessie was born May 1, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo, the son of Ciro and Gudelia (Hurtado) Luna. He married Shelly Brown on April 29, 2005, and she survives at the home. He worked for Providence Medical Center working security until his retirement. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, son, Steve (Annabel), stepson, Douglas (Sarah) Soper Jr., grandchildren, Jose (Mike) & Matthew Luna, Ezra Soper, brothers, Henry, Ralph, and John. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael D. Luna.
