On Wednesday, the NAIA released the annual list of Champions of Character Five-Star Award winners for the 2023-24 academic year. Benedictine College Athletics earned a Gold Medallion – the program’s highest honor.
As part of the awards presentation on Monday at the annual Heart Summit, the Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its winners for various Heart honors, one of which featured the Benedictine College Baseball team.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference has released the annual Heart Football Preseason Coaches’ Polls. Benedictine Football was selected as the preseason favorite to win the Heart South.
Sign-ups for the Atchison Recreation Indoor and Outdoor Soccer programs will be accepted from Monday, August 1 until Friday, August 16, at the Recreation Office at Memorial Hall, 819 Commercial Street. Office hours are 9-12 Noon and 1-5 PM on Monday through Friday.
Signup and Equipment Checkout for the Atchison Recreation Youth Football program will be held Saturday, August 17th from 9 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the Sports Complex, 17th and Country Club Road.
