Lois June (Reid) Bullock, age 85, of Atchison, KS, passed away at home on January 28, 2025.
June was born on April 10, 1939, to Roy and Evelyn (Mahan) Reid in the Good Intent township, rural Atchison County, KS.
June married William Joseph (Joe) Bullock, on February 10, 1957, at First Christian Church, Atchison, KS.
June was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe; her parents, Roy and Evelyn; brother, Paul; sisters-in-law and spouses, Helen and William Thurlow, and Wilma and Robert Thorne; and nephew, Gary Thorne.
She is survived by her five children: Joe (Sharon) Bullock, Dea (Basil) Yanke, Shelly Stohs, Brenda Bullock, and Nancy (Chris Phipps) Bullock; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, David (Lois) Reid; numerous nieces and nephews; and family friend, Doran Bailey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Bendena, KS, with a meal and visitation afterward. Burial will be held privately at the Moray Cemetery.

Dennis Arthur Zaske, age 71, affectionately known as “Stubby,” passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Standish, MI, with his family by his side, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on October 17, 1953, in Detroit, MI, Dennis grew up with an indomitable spirit that would carry him through a life dedicated to hard work and joy. He lived in the Clear Lake Area for 15 years, formerly of Standish.
A proud graduate of Oscoda High School, Dennis embarked on his professional journey shortly after graduation, first working alongside his father in the painting business. He later joined Ogemaw Forge in West Branch, where he contributed his skills diligently. After 35 years of dedicated service at Griffin Beverage as a driver, sales representative, and eventually a regional and district manager, he retired, leaving behind a remarkable career that spoke to his unwavering work ethic and dedication.
Dennis was not only a devoted worker; he was a passionate golfer who treasured the camaraderie of golfing trips with his buddies. His love for the outdoors found him kayaking, going for walks with Beth, and enjoying the pool with their grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Family time was sacred to him, and he relished in traveling with loved ones, making memories that would last for generations.
He is survived by many who will forever hold him close in their hearts. The mother of his children, Cheryl Ziembo, remains a cherished part of his story. He leaves behind his children Thomas (Kerry) Zaske, Dustin (Jeanette) Zaske, Chad (Jill) Zaske, and Ashley Madigan, all of whom carry his spirit forward. His family tree continues to grow with stepchildren Toby (Ann) Tisdale, Joni VonSteenburg, and Katie (Brian) Kahn, alongside numerous grandchildren: Dylan, Lauren, Brendon, Max, Tyson, Kylie, Alexis, Mary Ann, Sydney, Kearyn, Baylee Mae, Cameron, MaKaylee, Laiken, Landen, Jack, Maya, Wesley, Griffin, Mayes, and Jordy, and his great-grandchildren: Jason and Aurora.
Dennis is also survived by his brothers, Chris (Connie) Zaske, Jody (Valerie) Zaske, and Greg Zaske, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Victoria (Vassallo) Zaske, and his second wife, Beth Rosebrugh.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family to be used to help children with swimming and golfing within the community.
