According to Feeding America, 14.5% of Atchison County is food insecure. More than 2,000 members of our community struggle with food security. Since food is a basic necessity, this issue looms large in Atchison. We have some wonderful programs to help fight this problem, including the Atchison County Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Project Concern, and now Currency of Caring.

The Project Concern, Inc. weekly menu is as follows for home delivered and congregate meals. Milk is served with each meal. Menus are subject to change. The Atchison United Way helps to support the Project Concern food program.
