CHARLES LINN TULL

Charles Linn Tull, 67, of Atchison, KS, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Atchison Senior Village Nursing Home. The funeral service will be 2:30 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. A private family burial will follow at Halleck Cemetery, Faucett, MO. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Charles was born on January 12, 1957, the son of Charles Ray and Beverly (Cawley) Tull. He attended Vo-Tech for Auto Mechanics. Charles worked as a lead man and licensed Weigher Inspector for Bunge Milling for forty-three years. He was a Life Scout in Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Lancaster Saddle Club, and MO-KAN Beagle Club, and enjoyed disc golf, fishing, rabbit hunting, and field trail dogs. Charles married Sandra Rathmann on March 14, 1997; she survives of the home. He is also survived by a stepdaughter, Ginger and Dennis Thomas, Lawrence, KS, two stepbrothers, Terry and Debra Robinson, Tim and Dorothy Robinson, two stepsisters, Tammy Griffin, Halls, MO, Trudy and Bob Scott, Atchison, KS, six grandchildren and several aunts and uncles on his father’s side. BERNARD W. NOLL

Bernard “Bernie” W. Noll passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 82, in Atchison, Kansas. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Father William Dun-Dery will officiate the service. The Rosary will be on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 6:30 PM, at the church with visitation following the rosary. The burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com Bernard was born on November 9, 1941, at his grandmother Schricks’ house in Mooney Creek, KS, the son of Walter “Jack” and Evelyn (Schrick) Noll. He spent most of his life in Mooney Creek, KS. He graduated from Mooney Creek Grade School in 1955 and from Maur Hill High School in 1959. He worked at the family farm until starting work at Midwest Solvents in 1962. In 1968, his Kansas Army National Guard unit was called to Ft. Carson for active duty in the Vietnam War, where he served as a unit cook. In 1980, he went to work for KCPL in Iatan, MO, at a power generating plant. He retired as a journeyman welder on Dec. 1, 2007, after 27 years of service. In his spare time, he loved to play cards, bowl, trap shooting, snow skiing, auto racing, and helping others.
