Pospisil, Patricia L. 1934-2019

RUSHVILLE, Mo. Patricia Louise Pospisil, 84, of Rushville, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Fr. Jeremy Heppler OSB officiating.

The body has been cremated and interment of the cremated remains will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home.

Pat was born on Nov. 10, 1934, in Atchison, the daughter of Emmett and Pauline (Drakely) Jackson.

She graduated from Atchison High School in 1952. She was married to Barney Pospisil in September 1954.

They were later divorced. Pat owned and operated Pats Steakhouse for over 47 years.

She had attended St. Josephs Church, Atchison, was a member of the Atchison YMCA and attended Swim Class. She was a member of the NRA and enjoyed bowling, gambling, camping, and fishing.

The annual Testicle Festival at Pats Steakhouse every year was a fund raiser for Shiners Crippled Childrens Fund.

Survivors include: four sons, Randy (Rita) Pospisil, Weston, Missouri, Tom (Patty) Pospisil, Birchtree, Missouri, Barney PospisilJr., Rushville, and Dennis Pospisil, Weston; a daughter, Patricia Mickie (Chris) Burton, Birchtree; a sister, Polly Jones, Atchison; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Her parents; three brothers; Bud, Jerry and Butch Jackson, and three sisters, Mary Frances Moore, Margie Larison and Linda Jackson preceded her in death. As published in the Atchison Globe.
