FRIDAY, JULY 24
Eddie L. Thomas, Jr., 57, Atchison, arrested for an Atchison County Community Corrections detain order for violation of bond conditions. Thomas was taken to the Atchison County Jail.
Emileigh Wilson, Atchison, and Joshua Ballinger, Atchison, are the drivers involved in an accident that occurred at the intersection of Sixth and M streets. There were no injuries reported.
SATURDAY, JULY 25
Morrio T. Moore, 36, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for theft at Walmart, 1920 U. S. Highway 73.
SUNDAY, JULY 26
Mitchell D. Stanfield, 43, Kearney, Missouri, was arrested in the 1800 block of North Second Street for assault of a police officer in the 1800 block of North Second Street for assault of a police officer. Police responded to a disturbance call that centered on a verbal dispute at that location between Stanfield and a 35-year-old female. Police allege Stanfield became aggressive with officers and made threats to harm the officers. Stanfield was taken to the county jail, and is facing misdemeanor offenses.
MONDAY, JULY 27
Edwin Cluke, Wichita, was the driver of a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle in the 900 block of South Fifth Street. Cluke was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and no driver’s license.
Jodi Oelkers, Atchison, reported a theft that occurred in the 1800 block of Pine Street.
TUESDAY, JULY 28
Lakeshia Taylor, 29, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in municipal court for theft at Walmart, 1920 U.S. Highway 73.
Keiflan B. Kelley, 28, Atchison, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Kansas Avenue. Kelley was released on bond.
Medicalodge of Atchison reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the 1600 block of West Riley Street.
Mary Trower and James Griffin Jr., both of Atchison, are identified as the drivers of vehicles that were in involved in a non-injury accident along Sixth Street and U.S. Highway 59. Griffin was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
Police are investigating a report from VanDyke Lawn Care, of Atchison, centering on the theft of a mower during the weekend from the 1400 block of Main Street.
WEDNESDAY, July 29
Brandon M. Mottin, 33, Lancaster, arrested in the 1000 block of Hickory for pedestrian under the influence and obstructing the legal process. Mottin was issued a notice to appear in municipal court.
FRIDAY, JULY 31
Heather M. Billings, 38, Atchison, was arrested for a municipal court warrant for failure to appear in court. Billings was taken to the county jail.
