Joseph R. Bianchi, 19, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for criminal damage to property at Seventh and Santa Fe streets.

SUNDAY, FEB. 21

George R. Mathis, Jr., Leavenworth, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for theft at Walmart, 1920 U.S. Highway 73.

MONDAY, FEB. 22

Alexander S. Kelley, 23, Atchison, was arrested in the 700 block of North Second Street for disorderly conduct and battery on a law enforcement officer. Kelley was taken to Atchison County Jail.

Pierce E. Stavens, 21, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for driving on park grass at Warnock Lake.

TUESDAY, FEB. 23

Julie Elias, Atchison, was identified as the driver of a vehicle who struck a guardrail and left the roadway in the 1300 block of Unity Street.

Bryce A. Berry, 35, Kansas City, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for driving while suspended and expired tag in the 900 block of Main Street.

Corey M. Lewis, 34, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for driving while suspended in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 73.

Vanessa L. Gerber, 40, Atchison, was arrested for an Atchison County District warrant for failure to appear in district court. Gerber was taken to Atchison County Jail.

Tommy Cooney, Atchison, was identified as the driver of a vehicle involved in a chain reaction accident. Cooney’s vehicle initially struck a trash dumpster that subsequently struck a moving vehicle along the alley in 700 block of Commercial Street.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 24

Duncan O. Benedict, 35, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for animal cruelty and a dog at large that occurred Feb. 13 in the 1000 block of South Fourth Street.

Christopher Mobley, Leavenworth, was identified as the driver of a vehicle that struck the bridge railing along the Amelia Earhart Bridge. There were no reported injuries.

THURSDAY, FEB. 25

Carina Cummings, Atchison, was identified as the driver of a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle in the 700 block of North Ninth Street.

SATURDAY, FEB.27

Felieca K. Paxton, 25, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for cruelty to animals in the 1900 block of Harper Drive.

Grayson R. Munson, 45, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and an expired tag in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 59. 

Malachi T. Ross-Vick, 20, Atchison, was arrested Saturday for violation of a protection order. Taken to Atchison County Jail.

MONDAY, MARCH 1

Vanessa L. Gerber, 40, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for criminal trespass in the 1100 block of South Seventh Street.

Brian J. Derry, 53, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for driving while suspended in the 1100 block of South Seventh Street and was arrested for an Atchison County District Court warrant for failure to appear in district court. Derry was taken to the Atchison County Jail. 

Autumn R. Butner, 21, Atchison, was arrested Monday for an Atchison Municipal Court Warrant for failure to appear in court. Butner was released on bond.

 WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

William A. Vickers, 22, Atchison, was issued a notice to appear in Atchison Municipal Court for driving while suspended, no vehicle insurance in the 300 block of Main Street.

Edwarda Sukow and Brenda Ogden-Buttron, both of Atchison, are identified as the drivers involved in a non-injury accident at Sixth Street and Kansas Avenue.
