OZARK, Mo. – The Heart Baseball Championship Series returns to the US Baseball Park for the third year as the action gets underway on Wednesday afternoon in two play-in games.

This year’s double-elimination tournament will run from Thursday through May 7 and will determine the conference’s two automatic berths into the NAIA playoffs.

Benedictine finished in second place in the Heart South this season and has earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Ravens will take on MNU at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A win advances the Ravens to game six at 1:30 p.m. Thursday while a loss would move the Ravens to game five at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

All games will be streamed on the Evangel Digital Network with commentary provided by Benedictine’s Dakota Smith and Josh Pound along with Evangel SID Phillip Dowden. In addition to the video streams, live stats will be provided for the duration of the tournament through Dakstats.

All links will be available on the scoreboard tab on the front page of ravenathletics.com or by going to the Tournament Central page provided by Evangel Sports Information.

Benedictine won two three from MNU this season on Laughlin Field at Olsen Stadium. The tournament matchup with the Pioneers marks the fourth time since 2014 the two schools have met up in their first game of the Heart Baseball Championship Series.
