Adoption of the 2019-20 school calendar, student recognitions, personnel and whatever might bump in the night are among some things that USD 377 Board of Education members expect to address at their meeting.
Board members are scheduled to gather at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at their regular meeting in the USD 377 Administrative Building, 306 Main Street, in Effingham.
Before board members address the business matters they expect to recognize the Atchison County Community School boys and girls for their recent accomplishments at state wrestling, North East Kansas League and sub-state basketball, state science fair qualifiers, and FFA district contest winners. A presentation concerning the science club paranormal investigation is also on tap.
Concerning other matters board members expect to:
Take action on a proposal for repairs in the auditorium for replacement sheetrock and carpet from water damages earlier in the year.
Discuss and review the copier lease and service contract that expire at the end of June.

Renew Parents As Teachers Contract for the 2019-20 schoolyear.
Recess for executive sessions to discuss matters of nonelected personnel, employer-employee negotiations and to discuss student matters.
